Please be advised that point 3.6 (use and sequence of tickets) of the SATA Group's General Conditions of Carriage has been amended:
Taking into account the changes, the procedures to be considered are:
- 1. When no prior cancellation of the reservation/flight has been made:
- 1.1. Change to the entire trip:
Apply the current fare regulations, based on the available dates/flights and classes.
- 1.2. Change only to the flight that was not boarded, keeping the rest of the trip as per the ticket:
If the reservation has already been canceled and the coupons are suspended (S), you must update the ticket in accordance with the current fare rules and according to the availability of dates/flights and classes. All other segments must be reinstated on the dates/flights and classes shown on the ticket. Whenever this is not possible due to unavailability in GDS, you should contact our services through the usual channels for reinstatement. We always guarantee passenger confirmation.
We ask for your cooperation. Before informing the customer that the reservation has been canceled due to no-show, first ask them if they wish to continue with the trip. You must rebook the reservation, even if you have to use our services, as indicated in point 1.2.
- 1.3. After the flight date, when the customer does not wish to use the flight coupon corresponding to the flight, they did not board, but wishes to continue the rest of the trip as per the ticket:
If the reservation has already been canceled and the coupons are suspended (S), please note that the closed flight coupon only allows for the reimbursement of airport taxes. The rest of the trip will be refunded in accordance with point 1.2.
- 1.1. Change to the entire trip:
Note 1: To obtain a refund of the fees, you must contact us through the usual channels so that an ACM can be generated.
2. When a prior cancellation of a reservation/flight is made:
- 2.1. Change to the entire trip:
Apply the fare regulations in force, based on the dates/flights and classes available, noting that changes before the flight date shown on the ticket are subject to a penalty, and if made after that date, another penalty will apply (if applicable).
- 2.2 When cancellation is made before the date/flight, maintaining the rest of the trip as per the ticket:
You should contact us through the usual channels so that the flight coupon can be closed. You will only be entitled to a refund of the airport taxes. The rest of the trip will remain on the dates/flights and classes issued on the ticket.
Note 2: The procedures indicated above are only applicable to flights operated by SATA (SP/S4). Whenever possible, we request prior cancellation of flights/reservations.
